About Claire
After her undergraduate degree, Claire completed her legal studies in the College of Law, Bristol and obtained a distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.
After qualifying as a solicitor in 2014, Claire worked in the Contentious Trusts and Probate team of an established high street firm before joining RWK Goodman in 2021 in our Contested Wills, Trusts and Inheritance Disputes team.
Claire advises on all matters related to contentious probate and aims to provide practical and easy to understand advice to her clients.
Claire undertakes all types of contentious trusts and probate work including:
- Acting for claimants and defendants in claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975;
- Challenging and defending Wills in validity disputes;
- Advising executors and beneficiaries on issues relating to the administration of estates; and
- Advising claimants and defendants in relation to claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
Memberships
Claire is a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
Interests
Claire enjoys spending time with friends and her young family and has recently started learning hand embroidery. Claire loves live music, comedy and theatre, and enjoys attending festivals.
