Gemma Nicholas joins RWK Goodman’s health and social care team

RWK Goodman is pleased to announce that Gemma Nicholas has joined the firm’s health and social care team as a senior associate. Based in the London office, Gemma enhances the capability of this fast-growing sector group.

Gemma specialises in advising education, health, and social care providers on contentious and non-contentious regulatory matters. She brings extensive experience from her work in-house with regulatory bodies enabling her to provide strategic advice to organisations in the healthcare and education sectors on regulatory compliance.

With experience in challenging investigations and defending proceedings initiated by regulatory bodies, Gemma also advises on public law challenges through judicial review proceedings. She supports organisations involved in safeguarding investigations and represents organisations identified as interested persons in inquests.

Gemma also brings significant regulatory experience from her previous roles at CILEx Regulation, the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and NHS Improvement. Prior to joining RWK Goodman, Gemma was with VWV.
