Weight loss surgery is often mis-characterised as an easy way out for people who are too lazy to exercise the weight off. What people seem to misunderstand is that mental health often has a huge impact upon someone’s weight, and weight loss surgery is a last-ditch effort to force someone who struggles to control their weight to keep the pounds off.
