Compensation secured for cyclist attacked by a dog
In 2018 our client was bitten by a dog when passing by it on his bicycle, resulting in a laceration to his forearm and scarring. He also found that his arm was more tender after the incident and found himself anxious around big dogs.
The owner admitted that the dog did not like cyclists. Therefore, after alleging that they were liable under the Animals Act and in negligence, the defendant’s insurer admitted liability.
We secured £3,000 in compensation for our client.
