Health & Social Care team at RWK Goodman advises on two pharmacy sales

This month (May 2018), the Health & Social Care team at RWK Goodman has helped two pharmacies – one in Bristol and one in Leicester – change hands.

Hazel Phillips, partner and head of Health & Social Care team at RWK Goodman, advised on the sale of a pharmacy, which is part of the Old School Surgery on Manor Road, Fishponds, Bristol, to an existing pharmacies operator looking to expand its portfolio.

Hazel said: "We were delighted to work closely with the retired GP owners of the Old School pharmacy on the sale of their business to experienced new owners. This was a straightforward deal at a time of continuing demand for good quality pharmaceutical businesses."

Earlier this month, the team, led by Hazel, also advised first-time buyers on the terms of the acquisition of Stoney Croft pharmacy in Leicester.
