National law firm RWK Goodman celebrates The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity with 2025 fundraising fashion show.

Brain injured individuals, their families, friends, support workers, and a Model.com Top 50 International Model all took to the catwalk earlier this month as part of the RWK Goodman Fashion Show in aid of The Silverlining Charity - a charity with a mission to improve the quality of life of all those affected by brain injury.

A full-service, UK Top 100 Law Firm, RWK Goodman runs a nationally acclaimed injury division, and has been working with The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity, and their joint clients, for over 15 years. The Charity’s work in improving the quality of life of all those affected by brain injury, perfectly complements RWK Goodman’s team around the client approach - supporting individuals and families at every stage, and achieving the best quality of life, with the desired long-term financial security.

RWK Goodman, Partner and Head of Injury, Tracy Norris-Evans said:

“Hosting the Silverlining Fashion Show is a true honour. We are proud and moved to see the Silverliners, some of whom have been with RWK Goodman as clients for over twenty-five years, on the runway. The Silverlining’s mission and ours – to improve the lives of those affected by brain injury - could not be more perfectly aligned, and seeing it brought to life with so much panache, style, courage, and joy was inspiring”.

Held on Wednesday 15 January at the stunning University of Oxford Examination Schools, the 2025 event marked ten years since the inaugural Silverlining Fashion Show, also hosted by RWK Goodman. With over 30 Silverliners strutting their stuff down the catwalk, this flagship event was attended by 325 guests of the Charity, RWK Goodman, and local community members, who have supported the work of the Charity by donating and spreading the word.

The Silverlining Charity & Community Case Management, Case Manager, Nicola Cale said:

“It’s wonderful to have been able to build upon the successes of our previous events hosted by RWK Goodman in 2015 and 2017 to inspire our clients to change their own perceptions of themselves, and of others impacted by brain injury. This inspirational event helps to raise essential funds for The Silverlining Charity, and provides an invaluable therapeutic benefit for all of our models. With many of our models supported by their friends and families, this helped to create an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere giving the night an extra little sparkle”.

A memorable night for all involved, highlights included; The Silverlining Charity raising over £9,000 in donations and from auction of prizes supplied by friends of the Charity; GQ magazine shadowing as Kit Butler, who starred in campaigns for the likes of Louis Vuitton and Dior, accompanied the Charity’s clients down the catwalk for the third time; and of course The Silverlining Charity brain injury survivors raising loud cheers as they transformed into models for this unforgettable evening.

The Silverlining Fashion Show was hosted by RWK Goodman, and proudly sponsored by Maggie Sargent & Associates and Community Case Management. Clothing was supplied by Mr Portobello, Clements & Church, and Droodle. Hair and make-up was curated by Scott Fairbairn, Sian Roscoe, Ruby Jenkins, Zak Hulbert Curfew Hair, and Katie Reay Scott.
