RWK Goodman marks Colour The World Orange Day with £5,000 donation to CRPS UK

The international campaign, which takes place today (Monday 4 November), hopes to raise awareness of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, a debilitating condition which affects the lives of people across the UK every year.
The donation will be allocated to the CRPS UK grant scheme. CRPS sufferers from across the country can apply for a grant to cover the cost of their travelling expenses to enable them to attend the new RNHRD & Brownsword Therapies Centre located at the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
The CRPS team at RWK Goodman is led by Partner Louise Hart. Louise, who is based at the firm’s Bath office, said:
“We work with many clients around the country who suffer with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome every day. It is a condition that is not well understood, but still has a massive impact upon those who have to live with it.
While we strive every day to obtain compensation for those who have developed CRPS as a result of an injury, there are many who do not have this opportunity. Our hope is that these funds go some way to enable everyone to be able to access treatment at the national treatment centre located in Bath”.
RWK Goodman are committed to raising awareness of the condition and ultimately helping all those who live with CRPS across the UK.

Colour The World Orange Day was first held in 2014. The campaign also aims to raise funds to support research of CRPS.
CRPS UK grew from the support group at the Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases in Bath. In 2011, the group decided to extend its reach beyond patients at the hospital and CRPS UK was formed.
