Annual Swindon ‘Meet the Team’ evening a resounding success
Around 100 people braved the icy January weather and enjoyed a festive start to the New Year at our annual Meet the Team event held this Tuesday (19 January 2016) at The Old Bank restaurant in Old Town, Swindon.
Malcolm Gregory, partner and head of corporate services at Withy King, thanked guests for their loyalty and ongoing support which has seen the firm continue to grow over the last 12 months and enter the ranks of the UK’s Top 100 law firms for the first time.
Sheryl Crouch, Head of Fundraising at Prospect Hospice, also said a few words and thanked Withy King for their support, having been selected by the firm’s Swindon and Marlborough-based staff as their chosen charity for the next two years.
Guests heard that Prospect Hospice supports a community of 300,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire, and the villages of Lechlade and Fairford in Gloucestershire. In 2014-15 Prospect Hospice cared for and supported almost 6,400 people, as patients, carers and family members, through a range of services developed to bring care, comfort and confidence at life’s most difficult time.
