WITNESS APPEAL: DID YOU WORK FOR PLESSEY MARINE BETWEEN THE 1950s AND 1980s?
DID YOU KNOW DEREK FREEMAN?
ur specialist asbestos claims team has been instructed by the family of the late Derek Freeman who sadly developed and died from mesothelioma, an asbestos related cancer.
We are investigating how Mr Freeman may have come into contact with asbestos during his employment with Plessey Marine (part of The Plessey Co) between the 1950s and 1980s. Mr Freeman initially worked at the Ilford site and was later based at the Templecombe, Somerset site. His job included working on the MK42 torpedoes.
Mr Freeman’s family are appealing to anyone who worked for Plessey, at the Ilford or Templecombe sites, during this time to come forward and tell us what they remember about the work Mr Freeman did, and/or the use of asbestos.
If you have any information which may assist, please get in touch.
