About Bridget
Bridget is an associate in our Personal Injury Team, specialising in claims arising from fatal accidents and serious injury claims.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 1991, Bridget has always had a passion for personal injury work, she has been specialised as a Claimant solicitor since 1995. Bridget has worked for High Street firms in South Wales, leading their Personal Injury Departments, before joining RWK Goodman in 2020 .
Bridget has extensive experience of litigation and has acted for Claimants in many types of accidents, and with varying degree of injury. She has a background specialising in brain and spinal injury claims, having secured many multi – million pound settlements for clients during her career, acting for both adults and children.
In the past five years she has developed a specialism in the niche area of fatal accident claims, securing large settlements for those bereaved after losing a loved one. Bridget believes that all possible investigations should be made on behalf of the dependants left behind, regardless of the value of the claim, providing assistance and guidance to them at a difficult time.
She considers all clients should be treated with the same respect and dignity, regardless of severity of injury or extent of dependency. She enjoys building client relationships and was once complimented by a client as being more like a friend than a solicitor. She considers herself to have a realistic approach to identifying the strengths and weaknesses of a claim and this awareness was enhanced by training as a mediator.
Bridget is aware of the considerable impact that the loss of a loved one or severe injuries to an individual has on the whole family unit and takes a personable, empathetic approach when considering their needs alongside those of the injured person.

"I have always enjoyed the challenge of the more complex brain and spinal injury cases, the intensity of work that comes with such cases and the satisfaction of knowing I was part of a team that helped to improve a quality of life for an injured person. I consider all clients should be treated with the same respect and dignity, regardless of severity of injury. I enjoy building and maintaining the client relationships and taking on some of their burdens when things become overwhelming for them."
