About Chris
Chris specialises in commercial real estate with a particular emphasis on complex development transactions. Whilst having broad commercial property experience he has a particular emphasis on complex development transactions.
He acts for both developers and landowners in connection with subject to planning transactions, options, property joint ventures, land promotion agreements and overage and profit participation agreement.
Developer clients include substantial housebuilders as well as property companies and site assembly experts.
Chris was educated at St Mary’s College, Blackburn, read law at Hull University and attended the College of Law at Chester. He joined Goodman Derrick in June 2014 becoming Head of Real Estate in 2017. Prior to that he had been a Partner at Howard Kennedy LLP (2002 to 2014) and has previously been an Associate at Dechert, Lawrence Graham and Addleshaw Goddard.
