About Sophie

Sophie is a solicitor in our Medical Negligence Team, acting on behalf of both adults and children in a wide range of clinical negligence cases.

Her work involves claims arising from medical treatment provided by the NHS and private healthcare providers, including surgical negligence, misdiagnosed cancer claims, and birth injuries to mothers during childbirth.

Sophie works collaboratively with senior solicitors on high-value and complex cases involving maximum severity injuries, such as cerebral palsy and Erb’s palsy.

Clients regularly praise Sophie for being “compassionate,” “proactive,” and “informative”.

Beyond her legal work, Sophie is a passionate advocate for patient safety and access to justice within healthcare. She is the co-founder of @whataboutmums, an Instagram platform that raises awareness of birth injuries and trauma. Through this platform, she amplifies the voices of women affected by birth injuries and advocates for meaningful change in the healthcare system.
