About Sophie
Sophie is an Associate Solicitor specialising in medical negligence claims.
Sophie acts on a full range of clinical negligence cases on behalf of both adults and children, which involves medical treatment provided by the NHS and in the private sector. These include surgical negligence, misdiagnosed cancer claims and injuries to mothers during childbirth.
Sophie also works collaboratively with other senior solicitors in our Medical Negligence team on cases involving injuries of maximum severity, such as cerebral palsy and Erb’s palsy.
Her clients have praised her for being “compassionate”, “pro-active” and “informative”. She is a passionate champion of patient safety and access to justice within healthcare.
Before joining RWK Goodman in 2013, Sophie graduated from the University of Birmingham with a BSc in Psychology. She went on to complete her legal studies in Bristol and obtained a distinction in the post graduate diploma in legal practice. She also gained experience working as a personal injury Paralegal.
