About Stephanie:
Stephanie is a Senior Associate in the London office, with over 17 years’ experience in personal injury law.
She specialises in cases involving road traffic accidents, employer liability claims, public liability claims, fatal accident claims, claims against the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority and Motor Insurers’ Bureau and claims pursued under the Animal’s Act.
Stephanie has a particular interest in sports-related claims and has acted for clients who have sustained injury playing football and rugby, and whilst participating in winter sports, water sports and outdoor activities.
Stephanie acts on behalf of clients who have sustained catastrophic or life changing injuries including traumatic brain injuries, complex orthopaedic injuries including amputations and psychiatric injury. She has represented both children and adults who lack capacity.
Stephanie’s principle focus is securing early funding to assist clients to access treatment and rehabilitation to maximise recovery and improve prognosis.
Experience:
- Secured in excess of £250,000 in damages for an outdoor activities’ instructor injured in a climbing accident, who sustained severe lower limb injuries, including fractures to both legs, pelvis, foot, heel and spine. C underwent successful vocational rehabilitation and was able to resume his career.
- Represented female C, who suffered severe leg fractures in a road traffic accident when struck by a defendant driver emerging from a side road, who struck C’s moped. C sustained fractures to the right tibia, fibula, femur, and hip. Damages secured exceeded £300,000.
- Obtained damages in excess of £250,000 following a fatal road traffic collision, for dependents and estate of the female deceased, who was a front seat passenger in a head-on collision with the defendant driver who veered onto the wrong side of the road.
- Represented injured female C, who suffered severe orthopaedic injuries in a road traffic collision. C sustained severe lower limb injuries and damages secured exceeded £300,000.
- Successfully recovered damages in excess of £200,000 for a male C, injured in a road traffic accident whilst riding his pedal cycle. He sustained a fractured shoulder and head injury.
- Secured a 5-figure settlement for a female C who sustained severe facial injuries following a riding accident, whilst on an exercise run by a riding school.
- Obtained damages in excess of £250,000 for a female C injured in a cycling accident after a collision with an unrestrained dog in a public area. C sustained a severe hip fracture, necessitating several surgeries and intensive rehabilitation.
